A Chinese bank founded in February 1907 in Singapore. [W05p146]

Besides banking they provided fire and marine insurance. [W05p146]

They had a branch in Bangkok and Hong Kong. [W05p146]

In 1909? they became the Four Seas Communication Bank [FSCB]

On 31 October 1932 the Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation [OCBC] was founded by the merger of three banks: The Chinese Commercial Bank Limited (founded 1912), the Ho Hong Bank Limited (founded 1917) and the Oversea-Chinese Bank Limited (founded 1912).

At some point the FSCB merged with the OCBC, 1995? [See here]
