Notes:
The predecessor firm, Puttfarcken Rheiner & Co. was founded 1 January 1857. [M04p218]
Both Mr. Otto Puttfarcken and Mr. Otto Rheiner had worked for Rautenberg, Schmidt and Company since 1854. [L02 table C] [M04p217]
In 1888 became Puttfarcken and Company (a German firm) when Otto Rheiner returned to Switzerland. [M04p218] [H06p312]
They seem to have had a head office in Hamburg. [H06p306]
They ceased business before 1910. [M04p218]
