Mr. James Wilson Hallifax [spelt Hallifax in W05p741]
Arrived in Penang in 1879 and worked for the Perak Government Service. [W05p741]
About 1888, he also worked for Katz Brothers becoming the head of their department supplying food and forage for the Dutch troops operating in Achin, Sumatra. [W05p741]
About 1907, he became a general agent and auctioneer mainly interested in the tin and rubber industries. [W05p741]
