In 1864 Hermann Katz and Mr. Hieber took over the retail business of Messrs. Kaltenbach, Engler & Co. and carried on under the style of Hieber, Katz & Co. but the partnership was dissolved in 1865. When Mr. Katz was joined by his brother it became Katz. Bros. Ltd. [W05p684-689]
The firm was liquidated ca1908. [H06p398 & 332]
